1001Software maintains offices in Ukraine (Eastern Europe). This is how we can
produce quality applications at significantly lower cost in comparison with software development
companies from the USA or Western Europe. While our costs are significantly lower we are committed
to maintaining the high standards adhered to by western software development companies. We also
want to assure our customers that providing professional support during and after the project is
one of our top priorities. The advantage of offshore outsourcing is that the only variable to
change is the price; the quality and support are exactly what you would expect from an industry
leader.
Determination of the cost of the project
The cost of a project is determined before the start of work as a number of work-hours multiplied
by an hourly rate. A contract, which lists all the project requirements and change management
procedures is then agreed upon and signed. More details are available on the
"Order Analysis" page.
Software/Web development prices
The hourly rate for software development projects depends on many factors (the level of complexity,
technologies necessary to the project, duration, etc.). The hourly rate is between 14 and 18 US$. For
each project the hourly rate is determined during preliminary negotiations with the customer. Please
visit our "Offer" page, to learn about our multiple contract
discount offer.
Settlement procedure
For a small project (less than 1 month), the client will be invoiced at the end of the project, once
the final version has been received and checked. For larger projects (more than 1 month), the
development time would be sub-divided into several phases with separate payments after the termination
of each phase.
Change management
Once the contract is signed and work on the project begins any changes to the project requirements
and specification will have to be renegotiated as a new contract or a rider on the original contract.
The general purpose of this statement is to insure that any alterations that add to the time needed
to complete the project have to be reflected in the contract and the cost of the project. If both
parties are satisfied that the changes do not effect work that has already been done or will not add
to the time slated to the project the original contract may stand.
